Abu Dhabi Judiciary Enhances Legal Culture at Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department is taking part in the 23rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2026, held from 28 August to 6 September 2026 under the slogan "Our Heritage is Our Strength and Our Pride", as part of its commitment to spreading legal awareness through innovative methods. The Department is presenting diverse knowledge content that promotes compliance with the legislation and regulations governing hunting, equestrian sports and camel racing, and supports the responsible and informed practice of these activities.
His Excellency Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and Counsellor Ali Mohammed Al Balooshi, Attorney General of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, visited the exhibition, where they toured the Department's pavilion and reviewed its events, awareness and educational corners and interactive workshops, along with its specialised publications and knowledge materials, which reflect the diversity of the initiatives and programmes offered to the exhibition's visitors.
His Excellency Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri affirmed the Department's keenness, throughout its participation in the exhibition, to deliver varied awareness content suited to the different segments of society, contributing to entrenching legal culture and strengthening community responsibility. He noted the importance of the exhibition as an effective platform for enhancing legal awareness and introducing the legislation and regulations linked to sporting and heritage activities.
The Department's pavilion offers a varied range of events, main corners, interactive workshops and awareness materials, most notably a presentation of the legislation governing hunting and equestrian sports and the related laws, enabling visitors to learn about the legal frameworks regulating these activities. It also displays the products of inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centres together with their handcrafted, artistic and creative works, with the aim of supporting their efforts, advancing their rehabilitation and creating suitable conditions for their reintegration into society.
Through its electronic library, the pavilion provides numerous publications relating to the legal and judicial field, in addition to awareness materials on the laws regulating the sports sector in the United Arab Emirates. It also features a corner for psychological consultations and awareness sessions for children, alongside a corner presenting the awareness programmes and initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Legal and Community Awareness "Masouliya", which seek to consolidate knowledge among members of society and build a sustainable legal culture that supports the achievement of security and stability.
Visitors to the exhibition can also review legal publications specialised in sports and hunting affairs, alongside the publications of the Abu Dhabi branch of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and the research and studies contained in the "Sport and Law" magazine concerning sports disputes and sports law, the jurisdictions of the international arbitration court, and an introduction to the laws and regulations issued by the International Council of Arbitration for Sport, the sports federations and the International Olympic Committee.
