Presidential Pardon for Abdulrahman Youssef Al-Qaradawi

His Highness the President of the UAE today, Friday 4 September 2026, issued a pardon for the convicted Abdulrahman Yousef Al Qaradawi, whom the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeal – Cybercrimes Circuit had, on 27 August 2026, found guilty of the offences attributed to him and sentenced to ten years' imprisonment and a fine of AED 200,000 (two hundred thousand dirhams).

The necessary measures have been taken to implement the presidential pardon.
