Sharjah Judiciary Trains 50 Employees on AI Applications

The Sharjah Judicial Council and the Sharjah Judicial Department organised the training programme "Institutional Transformation through Assistive Artificial Intelligence — The Korean Experience", with the participation of 50 members of the Judicial Department and the public prosecution offices of the emirate's courts, held over two days at the Sharjah Institute for Judicial Studies.

Judge Dr Saeed Ali Bahbouh Al Naqbi, President of the Courts of Appeal, affirmed that the programme comes in line with the State's orientations towards global leadership in adopting assistive artificial intelligence technologies, and gives effect to the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah and the Judicial Council of turning artificial intelligence into an integrated working system.

Judge Dr Saeed Ali Bahbouh Al Naqbi explained to "Sharjah 24" that the programme aims to draw on the best global practices, foremost among them the pioneering Korean experience, and to equip participants with the latest tools and mechanisms of assistive artificial intelligence in order to raise the quality and effectiveness of judicial services.

The President of the Courts of Appeal pointed to the Judicial Department's keenness to continue its efforts to expand the use of artificial intelligence technologies, so as to raise the efficiency of the judicial system and entrench an innovative working environment that keeps pace with the department's future aspirations and vision.
